Dead or Dinner? Footnotes
I didn't bring any lotion to put on my skin before dinner...
Genesis, No Reply at All 1981. Phil Collins certainly helped jettison Genesis from Prog Rock to AOR radio stations. They are a staple in my MP3 rotation. Maybe it's a good thing when he didn't answer my knocks at the door.
Simple Minds, Alive and Kicking 1985. I first fell in love with them after watching The Breakfast Club, then the rest of their hits were added to my Pandora "Tears for Fears" radio station. I was certainly hoping the guy was alive and kicking even though he wasn't answering the door.
Star Wars, Darth Vader 1977. We all do the "Breathing like Darth Vader" voiceover. Imagine hearing someone like that when you are sneaking around their house thinking they are dead.
The Twilight Zone 1959-1964. My all-time favorite sci-fi television series. If I could be famous for anything, I wish it would have been for creating/writing/starring in The Twilight Zone series. I wake up thinking I am already in it...but when something totally extraordinary happens, it's no doubt, The Twilight Zone.
